TO: MEMBERS AND STAKEHOLDERS OF THE NIGERIAN CHAMBER OF SHIPPING
This is to formally inform you that the Director-General of the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping, Ms Obiageli Ogbenyanu Obi, after 3 years of service, has resigned her appointment with effect from 12th May 2020.
Ms Obi became Chief Executive of the Chamber in April 2017 and will be appreciated for her contributions to the advancement of the Chamber of Shipping while at the helm of affairs.
As she moves on, on behalf of the Governing Council, I wish her success in her future endeavours.
In order to avoid a vacuum, the Operational Committee (OPCOM) of the Governing Council will manage the affairs of the organisation until a new Director-General is engaged.
